Easy Panna Recipe: A Tropical Delight in 20 Minutes

Requirements:

  • 3 cups pineapple
  • Turmeric – ½ tsp
  • Pepper crushed – ½ tsp
  • Black Salt – 1 tsp
  • Chilli Powder – ¾ tsp
  • Cumin powder(roasted) – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Water – 1 liter
  • Jaggery/ Sugar – As per taste
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves

Preparation of Panna(Mixer)

  1. Take chopped pineapple add water and heat it.
  2. Add turmeric, chili powder, pepper, cumin, and salt to the pineapple and water mix and bring to a boil.
  3. After you see bubbles, you can add jaggery or sugar as per requirements.
  4. Look for the pineapple to get mushy or tender. 
  5. Switch off the stove and let it cool.
  6. The above process should take approx 15 mins.
  7. After the mix has cooled off blend it in a mixer. This preparation can be stored until 3 weeks in the refrigerator. 

Preparation of cooler

  • Take a glass, add a pinch of salt, and chili at the top.
  • Add ice and mint leaves
  • Now add the puree as per your taste requirements.
  • Then add water and serve it chilled.
